Hawaii Volcano National Park

The Big Island keeps growing every year, thanks to the active volcanoes on the island. Volcanoes National Park is home to many active volcano sites, which continually flow into the ocean, cool and become hardened lava, thus expanding the size of the island. Read more about Volcano National Park and how it may fit with your Big Island vacation plans from our bed and breakfast.

The North Coast

While the south end of the Big Island of Hawaii is mostly rocky from the hardened volcanic lava, the North end of the Big Island is a lush, tropical paradise. The drive up the coast from our bed and breakfast gives you a flavor of the diversity of the Island on your vacation. Luscious landscapes come up on you in Waipio Valley - Hawaiian Valley of the Kings, which lives up to its name. Trail heads for hiking to amazing, lush waterfalls and incredible views of the Big Island are well worth the drive.
